Stephen P. Smith, 68 died Aug. 24 at Huntington Baptist Memorial Hospital. Stephen known by many as "Pat" was a longtime resident of Jackson Tn. Pat was born in Humboldt TN, December, 8 1947.
Pat was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam in 1967-1969. Pat is survived by his brother Robin Smith also a longtime resident of Jackson TN. He also had been a resident of Lafayette, La., where he resided for some 23yrs where he worked in the oilfield, and later at the Lafayette newspaper, The Daily Advertiser
