Talyor Reeves Matthews

Mr. Taylor Reeves Matthews age 94 of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in Maplewood Healthcare.

He was born October 16, 1929, in Tupelo, MS to the late Luther Crawford Matthews and Katheryn Louise Reeves Matthews. Mr. Matthews was a retired supervisor with the City of Beaumont, TX.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie E. Matthews and a daughter Stella L. Matthews.

Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Matthews and Rita Matthews both of Texas and Gwen Matthews of Jackson. Other survivors include several grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
