Terry Wayne Cook

Mr. Terry Wayne Cook age 75 of Humboldt, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, in Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson.

He was born March 3, 1948, to the late Sherman Cook and Ruth Dye Cook. Mr. Cook spent his last eight years as a truck driver for Cooper Freight where he was a "Million Miler" with the company. He enjoyed being outside and working on all things mechanical. Mr. Cook loved having Jean ride by his side all the miles he drove.

Survivors include his wife of forty years, Jean Western Cook; two sons, Paul Cook and wife Cathy of Eva, AL and Jeff Arnold and wife Stephanie of Panama City, FL; one daughter, Amy White and husband Barry of Rutherford; one brother, James Cook and wife Frances of Haleyville, AL; one sister, Dianne Jackson of Haleyville, AL. Other survivors include twelve grandchildren, Brian, Brock, Crimson, Candance, Brandi, Maryann, Matt, Hunter, Jessica, Candace, Tyler and Nick; several great grandchildren; nephews, Toby Cook, Robert Cook, and Chris Scoles; and niece, Christy Cook.

A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Cook's life will be conducted on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Humboldt Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.

Mr. Cook’s final resting place will be in Rutherford Cemetery.
