Terry Wayne Rodgers, Sr.

Terry Wayne Rodges, Sr., 62, of Jackson, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 10, 2018.

Terry is survived by his wife Becky of 42 years, son TJ (Nicole) Rodgers, daughter Mindy Rodgers, grandchildren Oakley and Eli, brothers Leon Rodgers, Darryl (William) Rodgers, sisters Connie Rodgers Brooks, Kim (Nikki) Mays, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.  Terry was a loving husband, grandfather and friend to all.  Terry was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Dolly Rodgers and his sister Cheryl Rodgers Owen.

Terry loved playing with his grandchildren and riding motorcycles.  He enjoyed working with his friends in the catering industry and learning about the history of a simpler time.  Terry possessed a thirst for knowledge and a passion to share it.  Terry was always there to help those in need or to do whatever needed to be done.

A special thank you to the great folks at Jackson Madison County General Hospital for their care and support. Also thank you to the wonderful members of Ararat Baptist Church for all of the love and care given during this difficult time.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Ararat Baptist Church, 3608 Brownsville Hwy, Jackson, TN on Tuesday, March 13th. Funeral services for Terry will be at Ararat Baptist Church on Wednesday March 14th at 10:00 AM.  Terry will be laid to rest at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Jackson, TN following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
