Mrs. Thelma Davis, age 84, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born on July 1, 1936 in Kathryn, West Virginia to the late Sebert Jeter Ramsey and Ada Pearl Ramsey. Mrs. Thelma loved greenhouse work and farming. She also enjoyed her time she spent in crafts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Ramsey, James Ramsey and Alfred Ramsey and one sister, Elsa McClannahan.

Mrs. Thelma is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Bob Davis of Spring Creek, Tennessee; three daughters, Susan Idle (Kenny) Dousman, Wisconsin, Terri Downey (Jack) of Spring Creek, Tennessee and Mary Lynn Jarrett of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois; one son, Bob Davis, Jr. (Michelle) of Yorkville, Illinois; two brothers, Tex Ramsey (Frances) of Oak Hill, West Virginia and Toby Ramsey (Donna) of Piney View, West Virginia; three sisters, Magaline Goins of Piney View, West Virginia, Peggy McDaniel of Wadsworth, Illinois and Sue Byczynski (Bob) of Peoria, Illinois.

Other survivors include ten grandchildren, Lynsey, Alicia, Heather, Anthony, April, Jon, Jay, Kelly, Debbie, and Diana and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 18, 2021 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. until the service hour.
