Mr. Tommie Joe Hopkins age 68 of Humboldt, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home where services will be held 2 pm Wednesday, December 2, 2015 with Rev. Steven Fonville officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Medina.

Tommie departed this life Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a long illness. He was born in McNairy Co., TN to Earl and Lola Mae Hopkins and graduated from Humboldt High School Class of 1967. He made his living as a meat cutter with Tharp Brothers.

Tommie was preceded in death by his father, Earl Hopkins; brother; James Earl Hopkins.

He is survived by his mother; Lola Mae Hopkins of Humboldt; sister, Debbie Boals, husband Bennie of Humboldt; brothers; Ray Hopkins, wife Margaret of Humboldt, Terry Hopkins, wife Judy of Humboldt.

Visitation with the Hopkins family will be Tuesday, 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Medina Funeral Home.
