Age 58 was born April 20, 1955 in Selmer, TN to the late Thomas “Ed” Hopper and Geraldean Ellis Hopper. She departed July 17, 2011 at her home.
Ms. Ellis leaves her mother; Geraldean Ellis Hopper of Lexington, son; Jeremy Paul Middleton, daughter; Kimberly Annette Middleton, son; Joseph Earl Gore IV all of Lexington, grandsons; Andrew Garrett Woods, Joseph Blake Gore, Gabriel Edward Middleton, and Charlie Vineyard, sisters; Marlene Goodman, Krystal Chalk, and Kelly Waller all of Lexington.
Ms. Valerie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas “Ed” Hopper.
Services will be 2 pm Friday, July 19, 2013 at First Pentecostal Church in Lexington with Rev. Anthony Goodman, Mr. Bobby Beecham, and Mr. David Beecham officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 until 2.
