Vincent “Vinnie” Hoyt

Vincent Hoyt, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in Humboldt, Tennessee.

He was born on January 31, 1968 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Genevieve Hoyt and the late James Charles Hoyt, Sr. Vincent was originally from Mt. Arlington, New Jersey and currently resided in Jackson, Tennessee. Vinnie was a caring and jolly person. He loved the field of safety and followed in his father's footsteps. He received his degree in Associate of Science/Chemical Process Technology at County College of Morris and also received his degree in Master of Science/Occupational Safety and Health at Murray State University. He received the highest honors and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa fraternity at both colleges. He also wrote two articles for the Journal of Chemical Health & Safety and was a Safety Manager for China Construction America Civil, Inc.

In addition to his father, Vincent was preceded in death by two brothers, James C. Hoyt, Jr. and Ralph M. Hoyt and niece, Kyleigh D’Alessio.

In addition to his mother, Genevieve Hoyt Vinnie is survived by his partner, Dawn Kyle; brother, Kevin Hoyt and his wife Marisa; two sisters, Donna Hoyt Weeks and her husband Kenneth and Colleen Hoyt Arens and her husband Ed; sister-in-law, Linda Hoyt; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Vinnie’s life.
