Mrs. Wanda Jean McSwain, age 80, departed this life on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born on July 2, 1939 in Hope, Arkansas to the late Elmer Hampton and Stella Ogle Hampton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James McSwain, Sr.; sister, Linda Hampton Teague; and great grandson, Garrett Turner.

Mrs. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Beverly Whalen (Jim); son, Jim McSwain, Jr. (Anesha); four grandchildren, Heather Turner, Tanya Harris (Jesse), Taylor McSwain (DJ) and

Cole McSwain; five great grandchildren; and a very special caregiver, Mashandal Reeves.
